Very positive work environment. This organization was very focused on their mission to provide unemployment benefits to qualified recipients. Management is very organized and empowers employees to achieve goals and directives. Was this review helpful? Once you make it past the year probation you are secure but as a result you have co-workers that aren't all Oklahoma employment security commision. The only way to get a raise is to apply for and receive a promotion or for the Governor to approve raises for State employees.
I was lucky to be hired into this job as I had always taken care of my troops while in the military and this is an extension of that. Homeless, unemployed, under employed Veterans come here for help. It is my pleasure to give assistance and hope to these Veterans. I have a great support network with other Veteran service organizations such as the VA, VFW, American Legion and other support agencies to get Veterans the training, living support, education and help getting them the career that can change their lives.
Oklahoma Employement Oklahoma employment security commision Commission. Cooperative, hard-working employees, breaks and good benefits, good opportunities for advancement. You can find better. It's a state agency, so you can't expect to much.
Culture is very different than that of private sector companies. Most are over worked and severely under paid. There are NO raises! Our payments for our really great benefits increase every year, shrinking our already low paychecks! Services are constantly being cut or deleted while workload increases due to budget and staff cuts.
Some co-workers work load is so heavy that they skip lunches, or come in early in order to stay close to current on work loads. Even after all of the hard work we are still reprimanded for being behind schedule.
Set schedule, No weekends or holidays.
Earning unlimited vacation and Oklahoma employment security commision leave. No raises, lack of understanding from management, benefits constantly increasing in price, poor management.
The Job itself is a great job. Although you have to do your work in a timely manner. The managers are awesome. They are understanding and will hold anyone accountable for your actions. Almost as bad as working for DOC. Nothing good to say about this agency, they allow Oklahoma employment security commision, they promote based off popularity and not qualifications. Management has no training just worked their way up hardly any education to back it up and you can tell.
Data entry related to employment and unemployment figures Data Entry Clerk, Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Oklahoma City, OK It was just a temporary job and I did not have many duties or interact with many other departments or people. It was a nice place to be while it lasted. Supervisor's were very supportive for personal time off. The employee said she was there before her supervisor and she did not have to listen to her. Great work environment with great employees!
A typical day at work was always a great day at work. The work environment was always easy going, never stressful. The employees always friendly and helpful. Willing to help out in any way. My Supervisor was awesome I really liked my job. There wasn't anything hard about my job. Great agency to work for.
As with any state agency, pay is a little low. However, for the most part, everyone is like family and the work is enjoyable. Great place to work. Until recently it was a fun and relaxed place to work. Management changed and the atmosphere completely changed. The fun part was my coworkers. I liked my job but sometime monotonous.
Good place to work. Enjoyed working with clients, and coworkers. It was decent job. I really wasn't there long enough to say how the days were or how the people truly are there. But from what it seem they were decent people. If I could of been there longer I could really tell you more Oklahoma employment security commision it.
Excellent workplace to learn and grow. Wonderful workplace to interact with the clients as well as the co-workers. Great management and helpful co-workers. I don't miss it I worked at OESC for almost six years. It was difficult to get along with coworkers due to their inappropriateness at work.
There are some things better left at home. My direct supervisor never had any real authority; she seemed to be a puppet of sorts for her supervisor, who actually was the one who gave orders to our office.
The work was always busy and involved, but the monetary compensation never caught up with it. When the agency had a change in directors, things seemed to get worse as the new director seemed to only want to promote those from his office, and assert his "Oklahoma employment security commision." The only people to ever be promoted where ones who "knew" or slept with someone in the leadership Oklahoma employment security commision. Leave accrual, holidays off, steady pay, healthcare benefit allotment.
